Shops

Shops are special rooms in Galactic Glitch where players can spend Shards (credits) to purchase Powers, Weapons, and other upgrades.

Overview

Shops appear throughout runs and offer a variety of items for purchase. Different shop types specialize in different items, and prices vary based on item rarity and shop type.

Pricing

Item prices are based on:

• Rarity - Legendary items cost more than Basic items
• Shop Type - Casinos have variable pricing
• Hub Upgrades - Some upgrades reduce shop prices

Bargain Hunter

The Bargain Hunter Golden UP reduces all shop prices by 25%.

Blood Shops

Blood Shops allow purchasing items with HP instead of credits:

• Useful when low on credits but high on health
• Resistance builds can take advantage of extra HP
• Be careful not to leave yourself vulnerable

Shop Strategy

Early Game

• Save credits for key powers that synergize with your Prototype
• Don't spend everything - keep a reserve for later shops

Mid Game

• Look for build-defining legendary powers
• Consider weapon upgrades if your damage is falling off

Late Game

• Prioritize survivability items before boss fights
• Blood shops can be valuable if you have high HP

Hidden Shops

Some shops are hidden and require special conditions to access:

• Hidden Rooms - May contain secret shops
• Corrupt Teleport - Can lead to corrupt shops
