Prototypes
Prototypes are the playable ships in Galactic Glitch. Each Prototype has unique abilities, stats, and playstyles. There are 9 Prototypes available in the game.
Overview
Prototypes are selected at the start of each run from the Prototype Room in The Hub. Each Prototype has:
- A unique innate ability or skill
- Different stat distributions (Destruction, Resistance, Evasion, Gravity)
- Different Power slot counts (4-7)
- Synergies with certain Powers and playstyles

Stat Ratings
Each Prototype has four core stats rated from A (best) to D (worst):
- Destruction - Weapon damage output
- Resistance - Survivability and max health
- Evasion - Dodge effectiveness and speed
- Gravity - Grav Gun throw damage

Prototype Categories
Tank Prototypes
|
|
7 power slots (most in game), explosion resistant, high HP. Best for builds that need many powers. |
|
|
Highest HP (+20), A-rank Destruction, counter-damage when hit. Ultimate face-tank. |
Glass Cannon Prototypes
|
|
+150% backstab damage, fastest speed, but fragile. Pair with Backstabber and Side Stabber powers. |
|
|
Cloak after attacks, lowest survivability but amazing burst damage. Use Cloaking Device to enhance. |
Balanced Prototypes
|
|
Default ship, A-rank Gravity for throw builds. Great for learning the game and Fireball builds. |
|
|
Freeze aura slows nearby enemies. Excellent crowd control for chaotic fights. |
|
Aggressive boost attacks, great mobility. Pair with Ramming Speed and Sonic Boom. |
Specialist Prototypes
|
|
Poison/DoT specialist. Leave toxic trails that damage enemies over time. |
|
Minion build master - minions auto-revive! Stack Helping Hand, Rocket Ranger, Carrier Command. |

Prototypes are unlocked through various means:
