Prototypes are the playable ships in Galactic Glitch. Each Prototype has unique abilities, stats, and playstyles. There are 9 Prototypes available in the game.

Overview[edit]

Prototypes are selected at the start of each run from the Prototype Room in The Hub. Each Prototype has:

  • A unique innate ability
  • Different stat distributions (Destruction, Resistance, Evasion, Gravity)
  • Different Power slot counts (4-7)
  • Synergies with certain Powers and playstyles

Upgrading[edit]

Each Prototype can gain 2 additional Power slots by upgrading at The Hub. Upgrading becomes available once you defeat any boss at BO-3 or higher with that Prototype.

Glitch[edit]

THE DEFAULT

The original anomaly. A versatile fighter with superior gravitational control.

Innate Ability: Good all-rounder and superior grav damage

Shadow[edit]

THE ASSASSIN

Cloaked ambush specialist that goes undetected. Deadly but also very fragile.

Innate Ability: Cloak after attacks

Stats: 4 slots | Dest: C | Res: D | Eva: B | Grav: B

Ravager[edit]

THE GLASS CANNON

Strikes from blind spots with speed and precision. Backstabs do extra damage.

Innate Ability: Backstab bonus damage

Stats: 5 slots | Dest: A | Res: D | Eva: A | Grav: C

Spiky[edit]

THE RAMMER

Armored ramming vessel. Deals massive damage when boosting into enemies.

Innate Ability: Boost attack damage

Stats: 5 slots | Dest: B | Res: B | Eva: A | Grav: A

Brute[edit]

THE TANK

Heavy-duty defensive warship. Built to take hits, and give them back harder.

Innate Ability: Superior weapon damage and health scaling

Stats: 6 slots | Dest: A | Res: B | Eva: D | Grav: C

Juggernaut[edit]

THE HEAVY

Heavy assault unit that resists explosions and impacts. Built to break through.

Innate Ability: Explosion and collision resistance

Stats: 7 slots (most) | Dest: C | Res: A | Eva: D | Grav: B

Frostbite[edit]

THE CONTROLLER

Cryogenic prototype that slows nearby enemies. The cold follows wherever it goes.

Innate Ability: Freeze aura

Stats: 5 slots | Dest: B | Res: C | Eva: C | Grav: B

Nox[edit]

THE POISON MASTER

Biological warfare unit that spreads toxic contamination. A legitimate biohazard.

Innate Ability: Poison trail

Stats: 4 slots | Dest: C | Res: B | Eva: B | Grav: C

Carrier[edit]

THE COMMANDER

Minion command vessel. Fallen allies auto-revive after 3 seconds.

Innate Ability: Minion auto-revival

Stats: 5 slots | Dest: C | Res: A | Eva: A | Grav: B
