Spoiler warning: this page reveals Solara's role in Infinity's Edge, including her boss fights.

Solara is the character who guides you through Infinity's Edge, and one of its bosses. She first speaks when you enter your first IE level: "Solara, by the way. And you couldn't resist the mystery, could you?"

Solara only appears in Infinity's Edge. She is not a boss in normal runs.

As a character[edit]

Solara's dialogue portrait

Solara talks with you and Siren at many points of a run: on your first two IE levels, at the first Glitched Challenge Room, when your max depth grows, and when you enter depths 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14 and 15. She explains the depth bar on the right of the screen and the seal in every layer. See Infinity's Edge Story (spoilers).

As a boss[edit]

Depth Fight Enemy HP multiplier HP at this depth (about) Helper enemies
8 Single boss x3.92 7,835 No
14 Gauntlet The Guardians of the Edge: The Dreadnought, then Root of the Infection, then Solara x12.63 25,255 Yes
15 Gauntlet The Edge: Siren, then Serenity, then Solara x15.35 30,695 Yes

The HP column is the base HP times the depth's enemy HP multiplier (see Infinity's Edge Depths).

  • Her attacks are split into three phases.
  • At depth 8 she calls the fight "a little assessment". After you win, she says it was only "A fraction of me. Consider it a preview."
  • She is the last boss of both final gauntlets (depth 14 and depth 15).

Rewards[edit]

  • Orbs with a base amount of 1,024, multiplied by the depth and counted as Quantum Orbs: 2,816 at depth 8, 4,352 as her share of the depth 14 gauntlet and 4,608 as her share of the depth 15 gauntlet (before other orb bonuses).
  • The final boss of a depth drops no shards; no IE boss drops a Boss Orb.
  • Defeating her as the final boss spawns The Tesseract, which ends the run as a win. Beating the fight at your max depth raises your max depth by 1.
  • Defeating her unlocks a Steam achievement, and a second one when you do it in Challenge Mode.
